Guiding Light Concepts, LLC is committed to providing our clients with highly individualized and professional treatment based on the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Guiding Light Concepts, LLC strives to provide comprehensive services to individuals with autism and their families. We have a compassionate staff of therapist dedicated to providing effective treatment to our clients and their families.
Our Treatment Focus
All behavioral, educational, and social skills services are individualized to meet the needs of each learner. Our services focus on capitalizing on the individual's strengths while working to increase independence in more challenging areas. All programming utilizes evidenced based principles and decisions are always data based.
How to Access Our Services
If your child is experiencing difficulties in areas of communication, social interaction, restrictive and repetitive behaviors, or managing challenging behaviors ABA services may be beneficial. Please consult with your family doctor for a referral for an ABA therapy assessment. We also accept private pay clients
Our Services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
Our ABA Therapy program is designed for children who have autism or a similar disorder or children who exhibit skills deficit. It includes 1:1 therapy from a trained Registered Behavior Therapist, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, or Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a minimum of 10 hours per week to teach skills such as language/communication, self-help skills, social skills, academic and compliance skills.
Behavior Reduction Therapy
Our behavior reduction therapy is designed for children who may or may not have a diagnosis, but who engage in disruptive behavior in the home, school, or community settings. This program focuses on teaching parents, teachers, and other caregivers how to effectively decrease a child’s disruptive behavior and increase compliance and other appropriate behaviors.
Individual Education Plan (IEP) Support and Development
Behavioral Consulting staff are available to attend IEP meetings with the caregivers of our current clients in order to ensure goals and services are appropriate and in the child’s best interest.
